Brian MacInnis
Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, Director
G. Brian MacInnis has more than 23 years experience in the automobile finance and other business ventures.
He founded Onyx Acceptance Corporation and served as its CEO and Chairman, taking Onyx Acceptance Corporation public in 1996.
Prior to founding Onyx Acceptance Brian led the auto-finance division of WFS as Executive Vice President.
Brian spent over 17 years at WFS in various management positions.
After successfully taking Onyx public he relocated to Georgia to pursue other interests including establishing a technology company and building a very successful restaurant.
David G. MacInnis
President, Co-Founder, Director
David G. MacInnis has been in the automobile finance industry since 1980.
He started his career in the Dealer Finance Group of Bank of America.
In 1981 he started working for Western Financial Savings Bank (WFS) and was involved in all facets of the operation,
including leading collections, direct lending and the loan origination group.
He left WFS in January 1994 to join the Onyx Acceptance team as senior vice president.
He served as SVP of production for the Western United States and more recently as EVP of loan servicing where he managed more than 500 individuals who were responsible for all levels of back-end servicing.
His leadership resulted in a drop in delinquency and losses with net delinquencies falling to sub 100 basis points.
He brings more than 27 years of experience in loan origination and servicing to GOLF.
Todd A. Pierson
Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Gateway One Lending & Finance LLC, Todd Pierson served as Chief Operating Officer and EVP for Onyx Acceptance Corporation since May 1999.
Prior to joining Onyx Acceptance Corporation, Mr. Pierson was the Vice President of Technology for Ceridian Tax Services responsible for filing business tax returns for 700 of the top 1,000 corporations in America.
Prior to Ceridian, Mr. Pierson was a Senior Business Consultant for Hewlett-Packard servicing over 300 financial institutions throughout the western United States.
Mr. Pierson received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in technology from California Polytechnic University.
Scott R. Fjellman
Chief Financial Officer
Scott Fjellman has more than 20 years experience in consumer finance companies and banking, and joined Gateway in 2011.
Prior to joining Gateway, Mr. Fjellman served for two years in finance and as a CFO for a bank holding company, and for
six years as an SVP/Treasurer at Metris Companies, a credit card finance company. Mr. Fjellman also served in various
accounting and finance capacities for nine years at Arcadia Financial Ltd., an automobile finance company. He also spent
two years consulting in the mortgage industry. Mr. Fjellman is a CPA (inactive), and spent nearly four years as an auditor
for KPMG, after receiving his BS – Accounting degree from SBU in Bolivar, MO.
Andrew B. Sturm
Executive Vice President, Loan Servicing
Prior to joining Gateway One Lending & Finance LLC, Andrew Sturm served as Vice President of Technology for Specific Media,
a global interactive media company. Prior to Specific Media, Mr. Sturm was Chief Information Officer and SVP for Onyx Acceptance Corporation since 1999.
Prior to Onyx, Mr. Sturm served as IT Director for Ceridian Tax Services responsible for filing business tax returns for 700
of the top 1,000 corporations in America. Mr. Sturm has also held various leadership positions with CCH Computax and Nissan Motor
Corporation, and served as a consultant to the Australian Customs Service in Canberra, Australia.
He brings over 26 years of business and technology leadership to GOLF.
Marty Crowley
Chief Information Officer
Prior to joining Gateway One Lending & Finance LLC, Marty Crowley served as Chief Technology Officer for SafeTzone
from 2000 to 2005. Prior to SafeTzone, Mr. Crowley was a Manager, Technology at Onyx Acceptance Corporation responsible for
establishing the 21 branch infrastructure for originations and loan processing. Prior to Onyx Acceptance Corporation,
Mr. Crowley served as Manager of Network Services at Ceridian Tax Services responsible for technical services for over
1200 employee’s. Mr. Crowley received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Gerald Wilkins
Controller
Gerald Wilkins has more than 15 years experience in the automobile finance business, principally from Onyx Acceptance Corporation
where he assisted in the start-up of Onyx in 1993 and its initial public offering in 1996. Prior to joining Onyx, Mr. Wilkins
worked at Ernst & Young, specializing in the financial services industry. While at E&Y, Mr. Wilkins assisted in engagements with
banks, savings institutions and finance companies with assets ranging from $100 million to $3 billion.
Mr. Wilkins received a B.S. in Accounting from Long Beach State and holds an active CPA license in the state of California.
Paul Choi
General Counsel
Prior to joining Gateway One Lending & Finance LLC, Paul was Senior Counsel for Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America.
Prior to his tenure at Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, Paul was in-house counsel for Onyx Acceptance Corporation since 2002.
Paul was previously engaged in the private practice of law with a focus on commercial litigation. Paul received his Bachelor of Arts in
Political Science and Economic from UCLA and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California.
Paul was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999.
Charles Tocker
VP, Audit
Prior to joining Gateway One Lending & Finance LLC, Charles Tocker was a Dealer Account Manager for Pacific Community
Credit Union since August 2003. Prior to joining PCCU, Mr. Tocker spent 16 years with WFS Financial.
He started in collections and worked his way up to management positions that were responsible for credit and sales.
Mr. Tocker received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State
University, Fullerton.
